Mission

The Rhody Exchange is a student-led investment and finance organization at the University of Rhode Island dedicated to providing real-world trading, portfolio management, and financial research experience. We believe students learn best by doing: making informed decisions, analyzing market data, and working as a team to navigate the markets.

What We Do

• Our members actively track and manage a simulated multi-asset portfolio in real time, learning about strategy, risk management, and market psychology.
• We research companies, sectors, and global economic trends, sharing findings through reports and discussions.
• From breaking down financial news to explaining advanced trading strategies, we make markets more approachable for students from all majors.
• We connect students with similar interests in finance, investing, and entrepreneurship, building skills and relationships that last beyond college.
